Day 2: Adventures in Salt Lake

Today was a great day of preparation in Salt Lake City. We slept great, though Hatchback always prefers more sleep. We got up early, had some quiet time and ate some sweet orange cinnamon rolls. Next we strapped on our trail shoes and took a short hike up into the "living room" to get a little more acclimatized.

While watching TV in the "living room" a storm looked to be brewing in the West, so we trail ran back to the car, got showers and headed to REI to pick up last minute supplies. Lunch wasn't delivery, it was Digiorno. After lunch we went downtown to watch the last stage of the Tour of Utah, a professional bike race. We saw the likes of the Rock Racing team, Francisco Mancebo, David Zabriskie, Floyd Landis, David Clinger, and others. By the time we got back to Sterlings, Sarah had made us some wonderful cookies and milk, so naturally after that it was nap time. Now were making dinner and planning tomorrow's festivities.

Hatchback had to be in control of the remote as usual.
